“In this follow up to the “Composite Video” episode, Bill and Anthony test the RF, Composite, and Amiga RGB outputs of the A1200. They also demonstrate how to connect an Amiga to a modern TV using SCART and HDMI.”
De beste reden voor de aanschaf van een turbo tv, uw Amiga gaat weer dertig jaar mee. Bijzonder feitje ook in de comments op YouTube volgens geocedille: “The Amiga 1200 had a very large capability of horizontal resolutions. The vertical resolution was mutch more restricted due to hardware limitations : CRT TV have a fixed number of lines (576 interleaved lines for PAL) but the horizontal signal quality (called separation) was only a matter of quality of the electronics in the monitor. The analog signal in itself does not contain any “pixel”. It’s continuous. This allowed the A1200 to display horizontal resolution up to 1504 pixels in HAM8 mode on a Regular TV. I know no other computer capable of such a achievment.”
