Der Wexel, Schier, 2005.
“Is a sound sculpture from 2005. It was specifically built for a field trip to the Dutch island of Schiermonnikoog. The wind plays this object like an instrument. The 15 meter long wires that are pulled towards a spot on the beach pass on the winds’ vibration to a resonator. The resonator with a diameter of 70 centimeters amplifies the singing sound of the wires.”
