Daniela Hoferer Passionsmaschine, Stickerei auf Satin auf Holzrahmen, Pelz, 2011. On the right side: Doppelkopf Stickerei, Pelz, 2013 Sammlung C. Moor.
The two Dresden based artists Daniela Hoferer and Michiko Nakatani are presenting their works at the Japanisches Kulturinstitut Köln. Draft as a japanese-german exchange show it is already their second show together. The two artists define one similarity in their work: both are dealing in a material manner with forms of narrations. But whereas Hoferers embroideries concretise more and more during the process, Nakatanis pictures in resin seem to lose their sharpness.
